Review: New Zealand…..famous for producing arguably one of the greatest rugby dynasties of all time and based on this product review one of the greatest ketchups of all time. This chilli chipotle ketchup has a smooth balanced consistency and nice spice. The chipotles bring the heat but it’s of a milder variety, it’s spicy enough without being excessive. It has some sweetness to go with the spice but it’s of the subtle variety which doesn’t overpower the savoury ingredients of the sauce. On my heat scale it’s a 4 out of 10.
Verdict: Culleys Chipotle Ketchup is a truly sublime example of how a combination of the right ingredients in the right proportions can produce a spectacular sauce. In trying this sauce I found that it worked well with beef, lamb and pork meats cooked any which way you can. It’s the type of chilli sauce you can almost add to anything and it will just work well. Much like the All Blacks all you can do is tip your hat and marvel at the awesomeness. My final score is a Perfect 10 out of 10.
