Review: Another entrant from Sublime Spices and as with a lot of the products I have had the pleasure of reviewing I’m surprised at the quality. This sweet spiced chilli reminds me of the chilli you get when you visit your local Vietnamese Pho noodles joint….where it’s fresh chilli’s crushed in an oil. The sugar brings some sweetness to it but it’s doesn’t overpower the chilli flavour. It’s not overloaded with ingredients but it doesn’t need to be because it’s delicious. The heat level is up there but it’s a slow warm build that gets hotter gradually..like the warmth you get from throwing an extra log on the fire place. It’s a 7 out of 10 on my heat rating
Verdict: Simple yet complex this sweet spiced chilli is the bomb. Hell I can picture myself virtually putting this on everything I eat but if you are not as addicted to chilli as I am you will find that it will work really well with roast meats, barbecue, stir fry, soups and noodle dishes. Or have it with your next cheese platter. My final score is a 9.5 out of 10.
