Review: Spicy Sanchez would have to be the hottest sauce made by Melbourne Hot Sauces. Just spend a moment reading the ingredients list again if you don’t believe me. This sauce brings the fire but doesn’t leave the flavour behind. The consistency of the sauce is smooth, it flows from the bottle quite easily without fuss and proceeds to burn a hole through the plate if you don’t eat it fast enough J. It might not be the hottest sauce I have ever tasted but it’s hot enough for me and probably too hot for novices. Whilst the initial pain may have subsided the burn is still going as a type this. Not a bad thing on this cold rainy day. On my heat scale it’s a 9 out of 10.
Verdict: Melbourne Hot Sauces have created a real barnburner with this Spicy Sanchez. It contains at the time of writing 3 of the officially hottest chillies in the world and they really bring the heat. As with extreme heat sauces the flavour can go missing but it truly depends on what you have the sauce with. Extreme hot sauces if used wisely can be an excellent side to slow cooked meats, medium rare steaks or juicy burgers. My final score is a 9 out of 10.
