Review: Kev’s Jerky Sweet Chilli variety is a well made and nicely spiced beef jerky. The portions appear to have been dried well and are unevenly proportioned which lends to an authentic jerky making process. The flavours are nicely balanced and as the label states it’s a sweet chilli variety, so it’s quite mild. It will work out your teeth and jaw muscles as most jerky’s do though. On my heat scale it’s a 1 out of 10.
Verdict: Kev’s Jerky Sweet Chilli is a nicely made mildly spiced beef. The portions are evenly seasoned and the flavour is excellent. The 100g portion package is just enough for 2 people to share or for 1 to snack on and the resealable packs are very handy indeed. A little tough to chew and this could have more to do with the variety of beef used as opposed to the process but that is the only slight flaw I can find on this delicious product. My final score is a 8 out of 10.
