Review: When I tried Flamin Goods more extreme version of this honey I was pleasantly surprised at the consistency and blown away by the level of heat they had managed to squeeze into that jar. This sweet heat version dials the heat back 2 to 3 notches on the ring of fire scale but keeps the same sweet gooey goodness of the honey, and the result is just as good. A honey that people who don’t mind a bit of chilli can comfortably eat. On my heat scale it’s a 6 out of 10.
Verdict: Flamin’ Good Chilli Honey Sweet Heat is another well made example of a chilli honey from Flamin’ Good that pays the utmost respect to both key ingredients. It’s a very good honey that you will find using more regularly after your first taste, to the point where you forget about the regular jar of Capilano sitting in the cupboard. Put simply an excellent chilli honey. My final score is a 9 out of 10.
