Review: I really enjoyed tasting this smoked jalapeno chipotle chilli sauce. The ingredients combined in this square bottle are quite good, they are solid flavours that are tried and true. The smokey flavours of the chilli and garlic really add a great flavour to the sauce. The sauce has a chunkier, almost chutney like feel to it. It’s got a nice level of spice but it’s not too hot. On my heat scale it’s a 4 out of 10.
Verdict: Disaster Bay Smoke Jalapeno Chipotle Chilli Sauce is a fine example of a chipotle sauce. The fresh ingredients combine well with the smokey flavours to form a well balanced sauce. It would fall into the barbecue category of sauces and would go nicely with your favourite barbecued meats or even on your favourite wrap/sandwich. My final score is a 9 out of 10.
