Review: Having already reviewed the Chilli Projects – Fruity Fatalli Hot Sauce, I was realy looking forward to tasting another of their sauces to see how they compared to my initial experience.
I contacted the Chilli Project and purchased a few different sauces.
As I cracked the Bottle the First thing that I noticed was the thickness of the sauce, then distinct aroma of the Habanero became apparent.
This sauce is as thick as a chutney, which in my eyes is a good thing, for you know you are getting quantity, not a watered-down sauce.
As usual I decided to sample this neat, as I wanted to experience this without having any other flavour distractions, What I tasted really impressed me. The hit was that of the Chillies, that distinct habanero fruitiness, then a hint of sweetness from the carrot, to my surprise there isn’t the smallest hint of vinegar. To be honest I have a real dislike for the watered-down vinegar tasting sauces. Which this isn’t one of..
This sauce is a real pleasure to eat, evenly balanced heat, flavour and texture The Packaging may be pure and Simple, but the contents really speaks volumes. S I new company, I am blown away by the quality of the sauces I have tasted.
This would be perfect on whole fresh steamed Snapper, just as well as it would on a burger, versatile, and easy to match with white meats, vegetarian foods such as tofu our stir fries. Hell I could use this almost anywhere.
The Chile Project has come out of nowhere with sauces that have really blown me away, quality, and Quantity, not watered down thickened chep versions.
For heat, I would give this sauce a 6 out of 10. For flavour, this achieves a score of 8 out of 10. A company to keep an eye out for in the future, great effect..
