Spice Factory – Tuscan Seasoning
Location: Morisset, NSW
Sugar, salt, rosemary, thyme, rice flour, onion, basil, parsley, garlic, canola oil, bell pepper, pepper, turmeric oleoresin
Tuscan Seasoning from The Spice Factory is a delicious mix thanks to the rosemary and thyme. How could a mix with those two herbs in it not taste great? Every ingredient in this mix has a definitive purpose, however I think the sugar is a bit too prolific. As the first ingredient it is clear that sugar is the ingredient of highest quantity, but to my palate, there is just too much sweetness. Perhaps I’m am just more of a savoury person; so please do not let my review sway you. This is still a very delicious seasoning and would go very well with a chick and even as a coating on some pork chops with apple sauce. Complimented with a white wine, this seasoning would go exceedingly well.
The Spice Factory has created another winner here. For flavour, I’ll give it an 8/10 due to the strong herb flavour and for heat, I’ll give it a 0/10. I was unable to detect any heat at all.
