Ingredients: Beef, Sugar, Salt, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein, Food Acid(330, 331, 262), natural flavour, dried vegetable gum, colour (150d), sodium nitrate and sodium erthorbate.
Review: This chilli jerky is strongly seasoned, with the garlic and chilli flavouring really dominating the beef itself. It works for me cause I love big flavours however some might find it a little overpowering. The steak is dried well and the portions are a good size that break down fairly easily after a reasonable chewing effort. Each portion is seasoned evenly. On my heat scale I rate it a 7 out of 10.
Verdict: Silvers Beef Jerky Chilli, Herb & Garlic is a bold beef jerky with a medium level of chilli and garlic. The portions are sized well and dried nicely. The level of heat is on the higher than average side and the garlic/chilli the dominate the beef. It’s a really nice jerky in my opinion but those not used to eating lots of garlic or chilli be warned….this is going to keep the vampires away!!
My final score is 8 out of 10.
