Review: Another chilli alcohol to review….and this is a pretty sweet liquor. It’s a schnapps or schnapps like with the butterscotch being the main flavour but you get a decent hit of chilli and a hint of rosemary. Its 18% alcohol. When tasting this I tried it straight and found it to be pretty nicely balanced. The heat is there but then the bitter sweet butterscotch comes through and you are left with a really nice flavour on the palette. The rosemary is just there and adds to the overall flavour profile. It’s a 5 out of 10 on my heat rating.
Verdict: Kiss Ofire’s Fired Up is a nice addition to the chilli alcohol market. The chilli and butterscotch are getting along really nicely in this bottle. The heat is there but doesn’t overpower the butterscotch flavour. I like the addition of the rosemary. Best had straight in my opinion but if you are more alcoholically creative than I am I’m sure this product will make a welcome addition to your spirit shelf and in a variety of cocktails. My final score is a 9 out of 10.
