Review: The third review from GRIND IT! is entitled Salt, Garlic and Chilli. As with the other GRIND IT! products, this is full of flavour and is a substitute for anything where salt is typically used, be it salt rubs on roast pork, steak seasoning, soups or even chips. Garlic is the most obvious flavour, aside from the salt and instantly, I thought of it being used on Turkish bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, incorporated into a butter mix for garlic bread or even applied to Indian naan bread. But if you’re a garlic fan, you would know that there is no limit to where you incorporate garlic.
The garlic flavour isn’t over powering, but it is most definitely the most present flavour. Added to any dish, it would simply be another characteristic. It is certainly not enough to make it a ‘garlic’ dish to ward off vampires.
GRIND IT! make fantastic products and they will have a place in my pantry from now on. Seek them out and buy up when you can, you won’t be disappointed.
For flavour, I give this salt an 8 out of 10 and for heat, it is barely noticeable, so a 1/10 would be appropriate.
