Review: As a kid I loved peanut butter sandwiches on white bread and loads of butter. As I got older (and less fussy) I was exposed to more exotic flavours. Satay was one of the ‘exotic’ flavours that coated the occasional chicken shishkebab. When ‘Get Nutted’ arrived for review, I knew I was in for a treat. How else could peanuts and chilli not be best friends?

This sauce is sensational. Its consistency is thick and therefore beautiful large dollops stick together, allowing for more of the delightful flavours to dance in the mouth.

It would be terrible to have a photo taken whilst eating this sauce because the shot would resemble one of those photos where one’s eyes are in mid blink. It would not make for a flattering photo but I can assure you that the ‘photographee’ would be enjoying every moment!

As mentioned above the consistency is thick and the colour is as one would expect; a peanut buttery brown/yellow. There are no large chunks of nuts, so you can still smile without fear of having nuts in your teeth…

I enjoyed ‘Get Nutted’ with a Thai dry red curry with crispy pork and they too were best friends like the aforementioned peanut and chilli relationship. The dish alone is delicious but accompanied with ‘Get Nutted’ the meal was just better, more enjoyable, tastier.

For heat, I would give this sauce a 4 or 5 out of 10. For flavour, this sauce achieves a score of 8 out of 10.

Having written this review whilst eating my ‘Get Nutted’ Thai dry red curry, I am thinking that I just may make myself a satay sandwich on white bread with loads of butter.
