Review: This jerky has a nice balance of spices and is quite flavoursome. The chilli component is quite visible on the portions of beef but the Peri Peri is not overly spicy. Its a nice level of bearable heat that matches well with the beef. The beef itself has been dried well and the portions are cut into strips. They break down after a reasonable chewing time and after a few portions you would have completed your daily jaw workout routine. I rate it a 2/5 on the my heat rating.
Verdict: Cravin’ Jerky Peri Peri Beef Jerky is a well-balanced beef jerky with a nice amount of chilli. The portions are sized well, cut like strips and dried well. The level of heat is in line with the style of chilli used and if you are not into high levels of heat this is a very good example of a milder style chilli beef jerky. My final score is 4 out of 5.
