Review: Like the Beef Protein Bar that was previously reviewed, this is very similar but with a different meat. To my palate, this bar was preferable. It definitely had the flavour of lamb and was perfectly seasoned with the herbs and spices listed in the ingredients. In my honest opinion, I would not change a single thing about this protein bar. It is quite simply, the best protein bar I’ve had.
Typically protein bars focus on a sweet base, digressing from a standard sugar laden muesli bar, but because they take out most of the sugar and salts, the bar is left rather bland, dry and well, not too appealing. So, presented here is a protein bar that tastes delicious and is on par or exceeds the amount of protein that other popular protein bars have with 36.1g of protein per 100g. Depending on what your fitness goals are, these bars are a suitably healthy snack, which are mighty easy to consume. They cannot substitute a wholesome and nutritious meal, but to have these instead of a sugar infused or fat laden treat, would be a wise decision.
I hope the Chief company gets a huge following. I haven’t visited any gyms lately, but I’m sure a market is out there for them to capture.
For flavour this bar is a 9 out of 10. For heat this bar rates 0. There is no heat in this product at all. Either way. Get into these bars, they’re great.
