BURNOUT GOURMET CHILLI SAUCE

BURNOUT GOURMET CHILLI SAUCE

REVIEW OF BURNOUT GOURMET CHILLI SAUCE, BY GRINGO KILLER GOURMET CHILLI PRODUCTS.

By Menios Zafiropoulos.

Margaret’s business started from humble beginnings growing the rarely known, and sometimes underestimated Rocotto Chilli in her backyard.

She quickly became fascinated with chillies, and decided to start growing more varieties. By growing her produce at home, Margaret could ensure everything was grown organically and pesticide free.

All this hard work growing, creating recipes, and tweaking them has lead to a range of chilli sauces, pastes, and jams to be reckoned with.

As she states on her website:- “What started as an interest in making quality chilli sauce, is now a small but growing boutique business that has been hard work, but a lot of enjoyment.”

BURNOUT SAUCE

AROMA

Whilst initially opening the bottle, I noted a scent of chilli and tomato. Further whiffs reveal a hint of garlic, with the tang of spices and vinegar.

TASTE

I got a good chilli kick right from the get go. Very small hint of tomato, and like many other hot sauces, that vinegary tang.

A secondary taste reveals a fruity note that seems to come from the chilli (unknown).
