ALOO JEERA

 

 

Ingredients

3 tbls vegetable Oil
1 dry Red Chilli
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp black Mustard seeds
500 gm Potatoes, diced
1 tbls Yoghurt
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp ground Red Chilli
1/2 tsp Turmeric

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  2. Add the whole dried Chilli and fry for 2 mins.
  3. Add the Cumin and Mustard seeds until they pop.
  4. Add the Potatoes, Salt, Chilli powder, Turmeric, Yoghurt,  and Salt.
  5. Stir and cook over low heat until Potatoes are done about 15 mins.
  6. You can use Mustard oil for added flavour.
