ALOO JEERA
Ingredients
3 tbls vegetable Oil
1 dry Red Chilli
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp black Mustard seeds
500 gm Potatoes, diced
1 tbls Yoghurt
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp ground Red Chilli
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Method
- Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- Add the whole dried Chilli and fry for 2 mins.
- Add the Cumin and Mustard seeds until they pop.
- Add the Potatoes, Salt, Chilli powder, Turmeric, Yoghurt, and Salt.
- Stir and cook over low heat until Potatoes are done about 15 mins.
- You can use Mustard oil for added flavour.
